Sir Rodney Brooke CBE, Chairman, QAA
Sir Rodney Brooke trained as a solicitor in local government, becoming successively Chief Executive of the West Yorkshire County Council, the City of Westminster Council and the Association of Metropolitan Authorities. He was Chair of the General Social Care Council from 2002 to 2008 and was founder Chair of the Durham University Public Management Centre.
He serves as a non-executive on the National Information Governance Board, the Tavistock Institute, Capacitybuilders and the Internet Watch Foundation. He is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Public Policy, University of Birmingham, and was formerly Research Fellow at the Nuffield Institute, Leeds University and the Royal Institute of Public Administration.
